So last night I went to a Winter Sports Dance, hosted by my school. It was really fun and my friends and I took lots of pictures. Im really happy about it, so I thought I might share some highlights from last night;

• I picked up my 2 friends and we went to take pictures here:

• We met up with another friend and after pictures we went to go eat at McDonald’s
• We did the iconic “everyone drink out of different straws at the same time” photo
• We hung out at my house and they pointed out all of my childhood photos…cringe.
• We waited outside for around 10 minutes in around 40-degree weather when (only about 20 feet away and up some stairs) there was a lobby with hot air and around 30 other people in it. We went there after we saw some people take a look.
• The dance was Hawaiian themed so they had HUGE beach balls and we threw them at people
• My best friend was there!!!
• We threw the giant beach balls across the gym like volleyball
• We got some cute picture strips
• I got to hang out with my ex (but he’s my friend, it was kinda awkward tho)
• The first thing my ex said to me in over six months was last night and he said “I just passed a girl and I think her t***y was hanging out” XD
• Honestly it wasn’t as awkward after he started talking to me….I thought he hated me but oops
• MY FRIEND HAS A CRUSH ON A GUY AND HE HAS A CRUSH ON HER AND THEY HUNG OUT AND I THINK THEY GOT THIS!!!!
• I got to go to taco bell with my friends and we stuck around the parking lot because they closed once we finished ordering.
• We saw a drug deal go down only 10 feet away from us and I was scared we were gonna get shot (we were the only ones besides them…and we were in a tinted van)

But we all know life isnt perfect, and some crappy stuff like this happened:

• I tried to talk to this dude I like, we dated briefly for a few days but stuff happened and it was a mutual breakup, but he liked my best friend instead
• He kinda ignored me
• The drinks tasted like crap
• I got to sit with the dude I like and he was less than a foot away from me but stupid Riley had to say “*girl he likes* is in the gym but she is kinda alone” and the dude I like literally RAN to her and I felt pretty crappy about that because Riley also told him I was alone and the dude didn’t even move, he just got on his phone. Or maybe its just me
• I got depressed for literally no reason and my friend kept following me around asking if I was okay every 2 seconds instead of hanging out with her date
• She literally spent no time with her date at all

That’s about it, but it was super fun and I’m so glad I got to go!
