Okay, so today I was in my second class (Art I) and my teacher called me up to receive a tiny slip. Only 2 or 3 other people have gotten it besides me, and I thought it was a pass to leave or something.

I ended up getting a paper that reads;

CONGRATULATIONS! Your artwork has been selected for the annual JCHS Art I Show. Your artwork will be on display at the Miller Performing Arts Center throughout the month of February. Please join us for a reception on Thursday, February 13 from 5 pm to 6 pm in the Performing Arts Center gallery.

Please refer to *website* for dates and times when the gallery is open.

I don’t really know how to feel about this…I’m excited kinda but I wonder what will be displayed. After we turn our artwork in, we usually get it back within a day or two and I have some of mine at home even. I’m curious, but I like to think that my art is pretty good. It has been a passion of mine since I could pick up a pencil! Of course I got it from my dad who I consider an artist, and perhaps myself as well now. I’m definitely going to go, I can’t wait!
