My Chemical Romance Announces A USA Tour!!!


Three Cheers For Sweet….Reunion? So the day before yesterday MCR posted something on twitter saying “Join Us On YouTube; 8:35 EST/11:35 PST” I, of course, freaked. I don’t know what time zone I am in, so I looked it up, and it was going to live-stream around 10:35 for me. It turned out to be a video, 16 minutes give or take, full of references from their previous album. Some of which included an “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love” vinyl, Pansy (RIP Pansy), some croquet mallets (featured in the “I’m Not Okay” music video), and many more references that are shown below. The end of the video was closed off with various dates around the U.S. I’m really excited, but unfortunately they wont be touring near me (apparently I am in the middle of a pentagram, below as well…) What do you guys think? I’m ECSTATIC!!!

  • This was most likely a reference to MCR’s song they covered for the motion picture, WATCHMEN
  • Warshak was a character in the movie and comic series, WATCHMEN
  • This is a lyric from MCR’s song, Thank You For The Venom. “If this is what you want then fire at will!
  • There is a short scene in the video with photos of people in an altar. These are people who have worked with MCR that have passed away.
  • This skeleton was shown in the MCR music video “Na Na Na” and was meant to be Bob, the drummer who thankfully left during TBP era, hence the Black Parade jacket
  • This is a lyric from MCR’s song, The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You. “She’s got something else in mind

  • This was in the video where the boy performed a ritual with MCR’s first 5 albums
  • The guitar (Top left) is featured in this video, with the stickers on the bottom reading “PANSY” which is Frank Iero’s (guitarist of MCR) favorite guitar that unfortunately broke

  • This is Ray’s (Guitarist of MCR too) helmet from the music video, “Ghost Of You”
  • Here is Gerard near the beginning of the video, which is about Gerard (Singer of MCR) and the band being sent off to war and Gerard’s brother Mikey (bassist of MCR) is shot and killed
  • This is a scene in the teaser that shows the boy falling out of a car, which turns out to be the Trans Am from Danger Days
  • Here is a better picture of the Trans Am taken around the time that the album was released in 2010
  • Here is another scene in the video where the boy is wandering around the hospital and finds a creep hospital gurney, referencing to the “Welcome To The Black Parade” video.
  • This is the scene with the gurney in th music video where “The Patient” dies
  • This is near the end where a woman re-performs the iconic “Helena” dance

  • These are the demolition lovers, both on the cover and mentioned in the song from Bullets “Demolition Lovers”
  • One of the corpses was wearing Frank Iero’s iconic studded belt
  • These vampire things are called Draculoids, which are featured in the music video’s of Danger Days and also the comic. They are trying to capture the boy throughout the video
  • This is a strip in the comic with an illustration of the Draculoids. They are “bad guys” and try to kill the killjoys, rebels of the infamous Battery City.
  • PANSY!!!
