So I came home, and pretty soon after I arrived, my parents left (they have had a planned date for tonight since wednesday, when the fighting stopped (at least…for then). So when they left I made some ramen and called my brother into the kitchen. He is the youngest and the first one home, so I didnt want to upset him if he didnt know our parents were fighting. I asked him what happened when he got home. He told me this:

(He said he didnt see them too much so he doesnt know exactly) He said that they didnt talk much. Mom would leave the room and dad would throw his hands up dramatically like this:

So yeah…he also said that they went back to their room and yelled so he turned on the tv but could still hear them. The tension was still around whenever i got home and they seemed sad and upset.

I also forgot to mention this…but I went to a basketball game last week and had to take my dads phone so i could tell them when to pick me up (because i don’t have a phone) and i was going to text my mom and i saw their texts. they had been cussing at each other and in one of the messages my mom said she packed a bag and threatened to leave. So…don’t really know what to do now. Really…sad. I don’t know what to think anymore, honestly, its just so stupid and not only is it affecting me, but my brothers as well and that’s when i draw the line. I gave my brother a hug after he told me what he saw and heard and i swear i saw tears in his eyes. I almost cried too but i have to make sure he doesn’t think anything will happen

  1. i can’t even imagine going through something like that and having to watch your parents in fear. i’m so incredibly proud of you for being there for your brothers, though, even when you are not completely ok yourself. i’ll be saying an extra prayer for you and your family ❤ ❤
